Dude Talk Dinners Gunnison

As a Gunnison County resident of nearly 15 years, I’m incredibly grateful for the support this community has shown my family. To give back, I teamed up with family and friends two years ago to start Brothers Helping Brothers and Dude Talk Dinners. Our mission is simple: offer men a safe, judgment-free space to connect and talk openly about mental health. Over great meals from local restaurants, we break bread and break the silence on the challenges we all deal with. These dinners have made a massive difference in many lives, including my own, by proving we aren't alone in our struggles. It’s been amazing to watch what started at a single dinner table expand into a movement reaching across the entire state!

I’m a Gunnison native and the owner and operator of Echo Ridge Excavation. Growing up in the valley, I fully embraced the local lifestyle through hockey, skiing, rafting, dirt biking, and anything to do with the outdoors. My deep roots in the community inspire a strong commitment to supporting my neighbors, especially the local men I grew up and work alongside. Having personally experienced the devastating impact of mental health struggles and suicide among family and friends, I’m proud to be a part of Brothers Helping Brothers. I believe this vital space fills a long-standing gap in the valley, providing men with a trusted environment to connect, space to be open, and support one another through life's challenges.
