Dude Talk Dinners, Inc. (“Dude Talk Dinners,” “we,” “us”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that hosts free community dinners for men. These terms cover your use of dudetalkdinners.org and our text message program. By using the site or opting into texts, you agree to them.

Using the site

The site exists to help you find a dinner, start one, contact us, or support the organization. Content is provided in good faith and “as is”: dinner dates, times, and venues can change, so check the community page (or your local facilitators) if you are making a long drive. We may update or remove content at any time.

Text message program

If you give us your phone number and check a consent box on one of our forms, we may send you text messages of the kind you agreed to: transactional messages (event reminders and dinner logistics) and/or marketing messages (news about upcoming dinners and program updates).

• Consent is not a condition of attending a dinner or receiving any service. Dinners are free and open either way.
• Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply; check with your carrier.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or email support@dudetalkdinners.org.
• The program is for US phone numbers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Donations

Donations are processed by Givebutter, our payment processor, under its own terms. Dude Talk Dinners, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit; donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

What we are (and aren’t)

Dude Talk Dinners is peer-led community connection. It is not therapy, counseling, or a crisis service. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dude Talk Dinners, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or attendance at events. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
