Privacy policy.

Last updated: August 20, 2026

Dude Talk Dinners, Inc. (“we,” “us”) runs free community dinners for men. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your information. This policy explains what we collect on dudetalkdinners.org and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Forms you submit. The contact and start-a-dinner forms collect what you type: name, email, location, what you’re interested in, and optionally a phone number, how you heard about us, and a message.
  • Newsletter signup. Your email address.
  • Text consent records. If you opt into texts, we keep a record of the consent you gave (the checkbox text, when, and from which page), as US texting rules require.
  • Analytics. With your consent via the cookie banner, we use PostHog to understand how the site is used (pages visited, general region), and session replays of how pages are used; anything typed into forms is masked and never recorded. Decline and we don’t track you.

How we use it

To reply to you, to send the communications you asked for (a welcome email, dinner reminders or updates you opted into), to connect you with a local community, and to run the organization. That’s it. We don’t sell or rent personal information, ever.

Who processes it for us

Like most small nonprofits, we rely on a few service providers to store and process data on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (our contact database), HubSpot (legacy contact records), Brevo (newsletter delivery), Givebutter (donation processing), and PostHog (consent-based analytics). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe links in every newsletter email.
  • Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts.
  • Email support@dudetalkdinners.org to ask what we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted.

Retention and security

We keep contact records while they’re useful for running the program, and consent records as long as texting rules require. Data lives with the providers above, protected by their security controls and ours; access is limited to the small team that runs Dude Talk Dinners.

Children

Our site and dinners are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest revision. Questions? Email support@dudetalkdinners.org or write to Dude Talk Dinners, Inc., PO Box 992, Idaho Springs, CO 80452.
