Garth
I live in Gilpin County with my wife and two dogs. Since ending my 25-year first responder career a few years ago, I have focused my energy on my nervous system health. Since ending my drinking career ten years ago, I have worked, and continue to work, on my emotional health. Realizing that other men are probably dealing with the same types of issues, I have been involved in men's mental health for a few years now. My interests include skiing and mountain biking, plant medicine, and walks in the woods with my doggies.

I have lived in Gilpin County for a little over 4 years and Colorado for 13. After spending over a decade in the outdoor industry, I returned to my roots and I’m currently an LCSW.
I live here in the mountains with my wife, daughter, and dog. I spend most of my time outside snowboarding, slacklining, biking, and kayaking. I know that making connections and friends as an adult male is challenging to say the least. I’m excited to make space for community in the county, and help other men create healthy connections and lifestyles.
